We offer a range of architectural services that produce functional and sustainable design solutions for Building Conservation, Public Buildings, and Residential Buildings. HPA is a small office (by choice) and the flat organisational structure allows for creative and innovative thinking, coupled with optimal workflows.

HPA specialises in the field where building conservation intersects with large-scale commercial projects. Our team has proven the cost-effectiveness of restoration and refurbishment may times over, in contrast to demolishing and starting over with new build. We are conscious of the fact that our planet is a finite resource and that we should think twice before carting more construction demolition waste off to dump sites – the starting point is to work with what we have.
Our team understands the power of narrative as a tool to tell a story using the building fabric (both historic and contemporary), and we aim to weave this narrative through our projects in many ways.
